Now you can make traditional style matcha at home. This set comes with a bamboo whisk (chasen in Japanese). The hand carved strands are designed to produce the creamiest froth which is a sign of well prepared matcha. There is also a light green whisk holder to help maintain the whisk's shape when it is drying.

The traditional bamboo tea scoop (chashaku) is perfectly designed for measuring the correct amount of matcha to use for a traditional matcha or a matcha latte. And a brown cloth can be used to wipe matcha off the scoop.
