This high grade ceremonial matcha is made from the first spring harvest in Yame, Japan. Whisk it into water and enjoy the wonderful, rich flavor. This matcha is suitable for serving in a Japanese tea ceremony, or indulging yourself in the finest of matcha.

Because the entire tea leaf is consumed as a powder rather than steeped tea leaves, matcha has a higher concentration of caffeine and antioxidants than are typically present in green tea.

Ingredients: powdered green tea leaves (shade-grown tencha*)

Preparation: whisk 0.5 tsp of matcha in 3 oz of 175° F water

Quantity: 1.05 oz (30g)

Package: Nitrogen-sealed Foil Bag in Reuseable Tin

*Tencha is a partially shade-grown green tea specially produced for matcha. After harvesting, tencha is processed and ground to make matcha.
