Milk Oolong Jin Xuan

Milk Oolong Jin Xuan

  • 1500

Jin Xuan (Golden Daylily) is also known as Milk Oolong for its milky fragrance and taste. Grown at 5,000 feet in Taiwan, this mountain oolong has a mouthfeel that is substantial and full, even though no dairy is added. Enjoy floral notes with a slight peachy sweetness.

To bring out this quality, rinse the teapot or gaiwan with hot water and steep for two-three minutes. You can experiment with different temperatures of water. In general lower temperatures will bring out the roundness of mouthfeel, while higher temperatures will accentuate a more floral taste. You can resteep 3-4 times.
