The Next Chapter for LizzyKate

After 10 years in downtown Kirkland, we are sad to announce it’s time to close the Kirkland shop. The last day the shop will be open for drinks is Saturday, July 25. The last day to purchase loose leaf tea, teaware, etc. is Tuesday, July 28.

The good news is you can continue to order loose leaf tea and tea accessories at LizzyKate.com. You'll also find us at local events such as the NW Tea Festival on Sept. 26-27. 

Gift cards can be used for purchases in the shop until Tuesday, July 28. You can also continue using them to shop online. If you have outstanding Drink Reward points, you can use those until July 25.

Thank you for your support and patronage over the years. We're proud of our achievements in Kirkland, and the fantastic community of staff, customers and vendors that we have built. To our regulars, we will miss seeing you and catching up at the shop.

P.S. many of you have asked why we are closing the Kirkland shop. The short story is expenses are up and revenue is flat. Covid, tariffs, shipping costs, etc have hurt most small businesses over the past few years. The shop equipment and ourselves are getting older. For those reasons and more, we decided not to renew the next 5 year lease.
