Top 5 Teas of 2024
Posted by Amy R at

A frequently asked question at the Kirkland tea shop is: what are your most popular teas? We crunched the numbers and here's the answer for 2025.
First a little background, black teas have dominated the top 5 since we opened the shop in 2016. However, a couple of years ago, two green teas started to climb into the top 10 and then top 5 best sellers.
- Earl Grey Cream: premium black tea is blended with high quality bergamot oil and French vanilla. The result is a naturally sweet Earl Grey tea. This is the first year Earl Grey Cream overtook Lizzy's Breakfast for the top spot.
- Lizzy's Breakfast Supreme: our house breakfast tea is a blend of teas from four countries (China, India, Sri Lanka and Taiwan). Amy drinks it first thing every morning with a splash of milk and no sweetner.
- Cinnamon Spice: we describe this tea as tasting like Red Hots candy. It's sweet and spicy at the same time. Perfect on its own or with a splash of milk or in our Cinful latte.
- Jasmine Pearls: this is the first green tea to break into the top 5 best sellers. The green tea leaves are rolled into balls and then scented with jasmine blossoms five times. You can re-steep this one multiple times because the pearls open up a little more with each steep.
- Sencha Fukamushi: this is the first year a Japanese green tea has been in the top 5 best sellers. The deep steamed sencha has a richer, full-bodied taste than regular senchas. The steeped tea has a mix of grassy and umami notes with a bit of sweetness.
Happy sipping!
